Fight with Insight has a financial policy in place, which outlines cost control procedures, procurement processes, bookkeeping, accounting and auditing. This policy is required and reviewed by donors.

In terms of managing funding; to date FWI have delivered significant programming with very little funding. This is testament to the level of in kind support secured, and the amount of volunteer time the core team have personally invested. FWI has strong finance management in place. All expenses are logged by the Administrator, checked against budget by the Project Manager, entered into QuickBooks by a bookkeeper every month, and externally audited annually. In addition, the management team have experience of managing budgets in other roles. Luke Lamprecht and Sheri Errington have served as Directors for other non-profit organisations with budgets of over R2 million; and Anton Gilmore has run his own boxing business for 15 years.
